Budget 2022: Sports sector gets a big boost of Rs 305.58 crores in new fiscal year

Following a stellar show in 2020 at Tokyo Olympics 2020 and Paralympics 2020, India’s sports sector got a big boost as the central government increased the sports budget by Rs Rs 305.58 crore. In the last financial year, the government had allocated Rs 2596.14 crore for sports, which was later revised to Rs 2757.02 crore. Abducted Arunachal teen was blindfolded, kicked, given electric shock in Chinese custody, alleges father

Father of the 17-year-old Indian boy, who was recently abducted by the Chinese Army from Arunachal Pradesh, alleged that his son was given a mild electric shock and was kept blindfolded most of the time during the captivity. ‘Playing tricks with farmers can be disastrous’: SKM warns of resuming stir over non-fulfilment of promises

The Samyukt Kisan Morcha, on Tuesday, warned that the farmers will resume their protests if the Union government fails to deliver on the promises made to the Kisan unions in December when the farm laws were repealed.
