Context, the crypto startup has recently secured $19.5 million in a seed round of funding. The round was led by early-stage investors Variant Fund and CEO of OpenAI Sam Altman.

Context is an app that enables users to follow the transactions of any crypto wallet. Folks can follow the activity of influencers, friends, celebrities, and decentralised autonomous organisations (DAO). The website claims that the point is to catch on to new and trending non-fungible token projects.

Context Also Recently Launched A New Version Of Its App

The crypto startup has also rolled out a new version of its app which will facilitate the users to automatically find the wallets linked to those whom they follow on Twitter.

The app is designed keeping the particulars of the web3 era in mind, including Non-Fungible Token (NFT) projects and collectors. The app further comprises market data from significant NFT marketplaces like OpenSea and Rarible. 

Context is headed by co-founders Luke Miles and Adam Ludwin, and currently has a robust team of seven, with plans to increase the staff this year. It was founded last year with a belief that keeping a track of the wallets of friends, influencers, celebrities, and decentralized autonomous organizations (DAO), will be the follow of the Web3 era. 

Other investors in the funding round include names like Vine co-founder Dom Hofmann, Dragonfly Capital, Lachy Groom, Quora CEO Adam D’Angelo, and Andy Chorlian among others.

Context is among the emerging and growing number of Web 3 tracking tools and is a part of a vast ecosystem of tracking tools that enables users to keep an eye on the activities in the web3 space.
