Kobe Bryant’s former teammate Pau Gasol recently condemned the illegal use of his image by a digital financial market investing firm called Immediate Edge. Gasol was Bryant’s teammate at the Lakers from 2008-2014. The six-time All-Star played a crucial role in helping Kobe Bryant bring two straight NBA championships to LA in 2009 and 2010.

As per the translation of his recent tweet in Spanish, Pau Gasol wrote, “The company Immediate Edge has been using the names of public people for years for its cryptocurrency scam. Have recently used mine. I want to make it clear that I am not involved and warn of the scam. In addition, I have taken legal action for the illegal use of my image.”

Pau Gasol has taken legal action against the company in question. The 2002 Rookie of the Year is lucky to have caught the scam early, unlike Kim Kardashian and Floyd Mayweather. The celebrity stars paid a hefty price for their involvement in another crypto scam.
