New company Global Titans are set to introduce NFT enabled access to live sports shows. The company will introduce premium boxing and MMA events at locations around the world with the debut event featuring fighters such as Floyd Mayweather and Anderson Silva.

Global Titans fight events will be held every three months for at least the next two years. The debut show will signify the first time an NFT ticket will be used to enable fans to watch a live stream online.

The NFT tickets can also be used for other elements that standard tickets cannot, with extra benefits and event assets that the holder will own, including a competition to win a trip to the debut event in Dubai, live stream online event access, a collectible 3D crystal ticket, world game coins that can be used in 300 online games, a choice of 8 fighter NFT ticket options, unlock-able official fight videos, exclusive content from backstage and free access to the next Global Titans event.

The firm will also be launching the Global Titans universe in July 2022, which will include the GTF$ cryptocurrency, online multiplayer games, metaverse content and real-world experiences. The goal is to create an ecosystem for the new generation of fight fans.

“We aim to create a bridge between existing and new fight fans, whilst simultaneously introducing new technologies into an industry which has barely changed in decades.” Said Global Titans CEO, Uday Singh.

He continued: “Like any new venture with innovative technologies and solutions, new adoption in the mainstream is always a challenge. Being the first organization in the world to provide an NFT enabled live stream sports event is no easy task. There are multiple challenges in technology, operations, marketing, broadcasting and more.”

“The understanding and awareness of NFTs are still growing and in its early stages, meaning it is vitally important to engage with the early adopters and embrace them into this exciting Web3 project.”

With some fight fans potentially not understanding the NFT marketplace, Singh specified that an easy process for people that are not web3 savvy would be paramount, but if that hurdle is overcome people will realize just how much of a step up their methodology could be juxtaposed to the standardized ticket model.

Singh concluded, “The primary focus is to give great value to fans. This project now raises people’s expectations of what they will receive when purchasing a ‘ticket’. Instead of just an email with a barcode, fans will now receive so much more through Global Titans events. The event industry is about to undergo a major shift in technology and value-added services, and we are at the forefront of that.”

“Furthermore, Global Titans is about achieving a win-win for all parties involved. For example, fighters competing at the events have a great degree of freedom across the entire project. Unlike other boxing and MMA organizations, Global Titans do not lock fighters into difficult contracts or restrictive sponsorship agreements. This creates great buy-in and fighters have much greater earning potential across all revenue streams.”

“The fighters and the fans are at the center of everything.”

The current focus around Web3 affecting entertainment is on developing the customer experience so someone’s daily life can be more streamlined and easier to navigate through its adoption. Singh is hoping that Global Titans’ fight series will be a historic first step in that journey.

The debut event is being held on May 14th 2022 live and directly on the helipad of the Burj Al Arab Jumeirah hotel in Dubai.
