Oscar-winning rapper Juicy J Tweets About Ethereum’s Revival – The Coin Republic

• Oscar-winning rapper Juicy J tweeted the massive rise in Ethereum’s value. 
• On Saturday, the second- largest cryptocurrency reached $1,400.
• Ethereum has also outperformed Bitcoin in terms of trading volume. 

Juicy J, an American Oscar-winning rapper tweeted on Ethereum’s bull run on Saturday. The rapper is quite famous for his songs such as “Bounce It” and “Shell Shocked.” In the tweet, Rapper informed his followers about the 5% rise in the value of the top altcoin. The rapper won an Oscar in 2006 as part of three 6 Mafia hip-hop groups.

The second largest cryptocurrency reached the mark of $1,400, outperforming all the cryptoassests, on Saturday. In addition, Ethereum has also surpassed Bitcoin in terms of trading volume. The tweet of Juicy J is an indication that celebrities are still quite involved in the crypto market despite the huge panic sell-off.

Last August, the rapper also suggested writing a song about the popular meme-currency, Dogecoin. In December 2020, the rapper asked his twitter followers whether it’s worth buying crypto or not. From there his journey in crypto took off. The top coin back then was preparing for another bullish run. 

However, Juicy J is not the only rapper who is interested in crypto. Snoop Dogg is quite popular in crypto circles. The rapper is a big-time NFT enthusiast. Snoop Dogg and Eminem together released a new music video. The video showcased the famous Bored Ape Yacht Club non-fungible token (NFT) collection. 

Another leading American rap artist, Jay-Z has also released a bitcoin-focused literacy project in partnership with former Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey 50 Cent. Back in 2014, Dorsey accepted the top coin for his album called “Animal Ambition.” He made the claims that he had become a cryptocurrency millionaire in 2018 before backtracking on his statements.
